Why This Reference Exists
Union Hill-Novelty Hill is principally unincorporated King County, despite the Redmond mailing labels used by many local addresses. That makes a city-office search a poor starting point. Ownership records belong to the King County Assessor and Recorder. Voter access runs through King County Elections and Washington law. Older household clues are spread among King County Archives, the Puget Sound Regional Branch, King County Library System, Seattle Public Library, and the Redmond Historical Society. We assembled those official tools, coverage limits, office contacts, and fallback routes so local research can begin with the right custodian.
What Is Collected Here
- Pages by angle: the street directory (address-keyed records), the city directory (the historical shelf), and the resident lookup (one-person searches)
- Official keepers: the King County Assessor, Recorder, Elections office, court clerks, Washington vital records, libraries, and archives
- Practical methods: ways to trace a street, interpret an old directory entry, and follow a household across time
- Access boundaries: what Washington law makes public, what remains protected, and how to request a record that is not online
What We Do Not Do
This privately run reference site has no tie to King County, any Washington agency, court, library, or records office. Its limits are firm:
- We cannot confirm whether a specific person currently lives in Union Hill-Novelty Hill
- We cannot pull, certify, or change any record on your behalf
- We cannot add anyone to, or remove anyone from, any roll or database
- We cannot give legal advice about a record or a dispute
- We cannot guarantee that every link, coverage date, fee, or office detail remains current
The record custodian alone can confirm, certify, amend, or restrict its record. The information cannot be used for credit, employment, tenant, or insurance decisions.
